Resupply Coordinator

Job Purpose:

Our company is seeking a Resupply Coordinator with a passion to help others. This individual will be responsible for performing all tasks related to the order intake process relating to acuterespiratory equipment. This individual must have a love for helping others and communicating with patients on a daily basis. He/she must have the ability to build strong relationships and put other people’s needs ahead of his/her own. This position will help ensure the department meets 100% compliance with insurance guidelines to effectively coordinate the fulfillment of patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Build strong rapport with CPAP Patients by making outbound outreach calls
• Track and schedule patient follow-ups
• Create Resupply Orders
• Verifies Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance coverage information
• Helps determine if medical necessity is met for items requested by reading through medical records and following payer guidelines
• Responsible for accurately loading all patient information into working system, generating all delivery paperwork for sales, rental and service orders
• Provide an exceptional level of customer service to patients, referrals and payer sources
• Demonstrate knowledge and ability to communicate regarding Durable Medical Equipment at an in-depth level
• Ability to make high volume of outbound calls to referral sources and educate on proper documentation necessary to process DME orders
• Use all methods of professionalism and courtesies required to gather all missing documentation to complete patient orders
